A surprisingly faithful adaptation of Dumas's first Three Musketeers book, that transposes the action from 17th Century France to the glossy plastic world that exists only in PWSA movies, where the production design is opulently domineering, the dialogue is translated into 80s action movie cliches and everyone seems to be having a tremendously good time. I've seen many musketeer movies through the years and this one wasn't the best one in my opinion but it was certainly not the worst either. 67 of 72 people found this review helpful.
