It is my favorite movie adaptation of "The 3 Musketeers"!!!!!!!!!!! The 'Musketeer' in question is one of France's great literature heros d'Artagnan, the portrayal of whom requires an actor of great prescence, talent and passion. Excellent movie, very interesting twist on the musketeers story.

It's a D'Artagon movie with supporting roles for the Three Musketeers. If it wasn't for him this film, although bad, could have been watchable. The film features Tsui Hark's regular actor Xin-Xin Xiong as a stunt choreographer. The biggest difference is the sword play. This Director has made films in the past that have proved to be deplorable, yet he still continues to work in Hollywood. Set on the streets of 17th-century Paris, where law and order is more an idea than reality, the series follows the horse riding, sword-wielding Musketeers Athos, Aramis and Porthos.

I have never met the man, nor would I bask in his company. He sets out to avenge the murder of his parents and finds his country cleaved by chaos and civil unrest. This is not the best musketeer film but is still a very good romp it has the usual very good sword play and like all the other musketeer films it has a good story.
