So why? Blah. Fresh off the series finale of HBO's adaptation of The Leftovers, Perrotta is back with a look at sex and midlife second-guessing. There are some good character ideas in this book.

Anyway, the thing about Perrotta is that his work, as terrific or as pedestrian as it is, is insanely readable and "getting into it" is easy and fun.
