It's musings of a man who, having hit 50, starts looking back and trying to make peace with some things and understand what drove him to where he stands. This book was so amusing to read and a very insightful peek into Sting´s life.

I also would've loved to know more about the origins of some of his songs (my friend and I believe the song "Don't Stand So Close to Me" must be autobiographical--referring to his time as a teacher); I loved the story about "Roxanne." A great read for those interested in what it's like to be a working, not-famous musician on the road, and will even appeal to people who are not Sting fans.First, I have to confess the crush I have had on the man since the early 80's (when I actually was a schoolgirl).
About Broken Music “Sting’s gift for prose and reverence for language, nearly the equal of his musical gifts, shine on every page.
