My move Annihilation is wide screen and they didn't get the movie framed correctly so I essentially watched it in letterbox form on a smaller screen. :). If you are feeling lazy you'll be annoyed as the bathrooms are up a flight of stairs.EDIT - Just updating from 2 stars to 3. Sweet! The signs outside the theatre and inside the theatre that show movie names are pretty old, dim and is last appealing. That's rare. The New … Based on today's standards and standards of other AMC theatres in downtown, this is really on the lower side. Since everything is now digital there are no projectionists any longer and the one young lady tried to fix the issue but once the program started she couldn't correct the problem. Unlike Everest, it is close to home. The signs outside the theatre and inside the theatre that show movie names are pretty old, dim and is last appealing. It reminds me of the old days before the mega-plex. In order to display showtimes, please select a nearby theatre. I know that the theaters aren't doing well, but holding paying customers hostage ain't gonna bring Netflix down anytime soon. There were only 2 people working when I went to the first show. Your trust is our top concern, so businesses can't pay to alter or remove their reviews. Lights come back on. Excelent choice, you won't regret it!Reclinable seats, extremely comfy...I have low back problems and sometimes I can't sit for long periods of time without a special cushion, the seats are so comfortable that I can really relax and enjoy the movie without even thinking about my back.Great service, clean and nice atmosphere.I'm even afraid of writing this review because I don't want this place to get overcrowded but they did such great job remodeling this place, they deserve a great review and people deserve to watch movies feeling like royalty.Hope you have fun and enjoy this place like we do. And that makes me sad.Thirdly, we went there to see "Lady in the Water" with the lovely Jasmine M. We're both huge M. Night Shyamalan fans, so needless to say, we were really excited to see his new movie. Especially on weekday mornings, tickets are $6 and you can watch the movie all alone, that's a good thing.Good thing though, they have parking and you always get parking because the lot is big. Always the first show on Sunday, for the matinee price and because you'll find parking in the lot. So screw 'em. It's nice they gave us the free passes, but that's the only reason I'd ever be inclined toward this theatre again-if it's for free. I will have shin bruises.I don't think I'd come here at night. I just walked out of this theater halfway through a movie I really wanted to see because the heat and humidity in theater 3 was unbearable. Ever. You probably aren't as frequented now that there's a shinier movie theater helping to service the north ends movie going population, and combined with your aging neon and stairs to the bathroom, I feel oddly reminiscent about you. This theater is located on HWY 99 Southbound. It was a little confusing when we walked in because there is no ticket booth, you just buy your tickets from the kiosks, or from the concessions stand, but it was easy enough. Overall it's a nice clean theater that's very comfortable to relax in and the lobby also has leather benches. Not as bad as I'd heard. Last time I was there, they had "gourmet" hot dogs, like chili dogs or sauerkraut, pan pizza, and chicken strips. THE SCREEN CUTS OUT!!!BeepBopBoop. Biggest bad - not stadium seating.Bottom Line:  I'm starting to realize stadium seating is a must for me. Decently clean. Small theater in a less than ideal part of town. My move Annihilation is wide screen and they didn't get the movie framed correctly so I essentially watched it in letterbox form on a smaller screen. Everyone who works there is pretty cool too. Sound quality was awful, seats weren't very comfortable, and the place was mostly empty. I like this theater ONLY because it is close to my house, like most other yelpers, it is a convenience factor. There really is nothing desirable about a movie theater that can make going to a kids movie even worse than it already is. The seats are not "stadium" enough, no one can see over each other, so you must pray no one sits in front of you.The sound is never high enough. The Good:  Not in downtown, don't have to pay for parking. There's no longer any marquee and the individually numbered theaters don't list the movie your seeing. The old Box Office is gone and you can purchase tickets at the concession stand. 3 stars is right for this theater. Went to see my mom's cousin's grandson in Dolphin Tale (he's the boy swimming with the dolphin). So this theater is quite a dump. Yeah, something like that, except we were fooled at Oak Tree a whopping three times, and there's that other expression, third time's a charm? You do have to reserve your seat in advance, which we made a mistake and sat in someone else's seat - which was awkward. Based on today's standards and standards of other AMC theatres in downtown, this is really on the lower side. AMC Pacific Place 11 . I was curious about the remodel that now has reclining seats. Suspect! Not only is the view better, but you're less bothered by the aforementioned assholes (which had no effect on this review btw). What I learned:  I need to find a theater for stadium seating that's not far from Wallingford but also doesn't give me downtown parking/road rage. The theater was not crowded at all and, of course, everyone clustered around us as they ALWAYS seem to do in a non- crowded theater (we're magnetic like that).
