Motorized watercraft are not permitted, but kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, sailboats and other personal watercraft (14 feet or less) are encouraged. We consulted with the best-of-the-best to ensure that your event will be memorable for the right reasons. Kayak Single Hourly $10.00 To rent canoes, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), head the the Hyde Lake Boat House. Poplar Tree Lake is located in Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park in Shelby County, Millington, Tennessee. Motorized watercraft are not permitted, but kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, sailboats and other personal watercraft (14 feet or less) are encouraged. Each park will implement additional safety and sanitation protocols to protect park staff and visitors and encourage social distancing. A few reminders: No swimming or wading; All boats, including canoes and kayaks, must be equipped with one wearable personal flotation device for each person on board.
