Rae is a wonderful strong badass. Hopefully the second book let's us know more about the secondary characters.I normally enjoy a good enemies to lovers trope, but this just didn't do it for me as much as I was hoping. Now that description is for books 2 and 3 but it's very doubtful that this series is gonna change that much.Stumbled upon this book and loved every minute of it. Especially after that ending!I enjoyed this book but found it lacking. So when I got an invite to read and review this book, I jumped on it...especially after reading that awesome blurb ;) She lives a life she has no control over, and she can't wait to leave and be the opposite of her mom.I don't usually read high school kids type romance on the regular, but the cover and blurb was calling to me loudly. Rae is no weak girl, she knows how to hold her own ground and put up a fight no matter how scared she is inside. Start by marking “Play with Me (Diamond in the Rough #1)” as Want to Read: I've jumped on the bully bandwagon and can't seem to get enough of them. Both Rae and Clinton have it hard at home, but it is Clinton who takes his own hurt and projects it on others....specifically Rae. Can’t wait for book 2!I love bully romances especially with rich heroes/poor heroines, but NONE of the characters in this book are likable.
I read the description "CRUEL INTENTIONS meets AFTER". I have been on a real winning streak when it comes to the YA and NA genre this year. Clint is known for being a bully and constantly fighting.
I unplugged myself from everything and really, really enjoyed reading this book. Book one is Play With Me.Rebel Hart is an author of Dark and Contemporary Romance novels. Especially after that ending! Terrific character development from the main characters to the supporting characters. It isn’t until one night when Clint leaves his house one night after a dispute with his father that he finds Rae sitting in one of his coveted spots and finds a connection with Raelynn he never thought he would have.where was the sexual tension??? This game is pretty great, very short but it has a clever concept and is well put together. Cheerleaders on each knee. She goes to school with the wealthy where Clint and his friends pick on Raelynn. As well as the readers got to see the growth from Clint towards the end of the book instead in the beginning of the second book! A posse behind him students and teachers alike are done fussing with.
What I did not know, however, was that there was gonna be a major cliffy at the end !! I’m sure the teachers don’t want to be you and I’m pretty confident that not everyone wants to f*** you either. I have to admit the author done a good job on writing it again. OK, so I've been waiting for the completion of this series. New author loved it cannot wait to see what happens next bring on the next book ASAP DNF @15% I really did want to enjoy this book, it has a beautiful cover and I've had it on my TBR list for a while.

She doesn't much care though since she is tough as nails, and she has 2 awesome friends who are loyal as hell. This story was a quick read and I wanted more but when I found out there is going to be a book from Hunter's POV I just about had a heart attack and when you read this book you see why.
