Since "Becoming Jane" imitates the storyline for Austen's "Sense & Sensibility", the screenwriter intimates that the celebrated novel was a barely concealed memoir. - who could ask fro more from a date at the movies??? Becoming Jane is not really about Jane Austen.

Instead, Julian Jarrold (White Teeth) expands on events from Jane Austen's life that may have shaped her fiction. Very nicely done. Intentional or not, the film aligns itself with the spirit of the times; that a barefoot and pregnant woman is better than a witty, ironical one. iOS WiiU Unfortunately, the melody in question was not on this disc, which disappointed me a little bit. Movies "Becoming Jane" leads the viewer to believe that Jane became a famous writer almost by default.
