Presumably the dog is real; the Tin Woodsman and the Scarecrow, delightful creatures, are perhaps figments of Dorothy's imagination. I kept waiting this low budget thing as all the events led to a climactic return to Oz to fix the problem that takes up the 1st few minutes when Scarecrow and Tin Woodsman leave Oz to get Dorothy to save the day. What a dreadful film....I cannot even describe how bad it is. The Ozians are gentle and thoughtful, and they help Dorothy to accept the reality of her life before they return to Oz.A terrible movie but bought it for family that lives where ...
