David J. Alexander, DDS

Dr. David Alexander has been practicing dentistry in private practice for over 30 years in Hampton, Virginia. He earned his dental degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University – VCU School of Dentistry following undergraduate studies at Virginia Military Institute – VMI. After military service in Korea and a three year tour at the Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii as Captain, he returned to his native Hampton and was on staff at Sentara Hampton General Hospital. Having provided general and family dentistry for years, he has become proficient in the identification and treatment of sleep disordered breathing and has been active in both the Virginia and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Outside of his practice, Dr. Alexander has trophied in racing sailboats internationally and has been spotted fishing in the Chesapeake Bay!

Preston B. Loving, DDS

Dr. Preston Loving has been practicing dentistry in private practice for over 30 years in Newport News, Virginia. He earned his dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University – VCU School of Dentistry following his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia – UVA. He spent five years as a part-time Pediatric Professor at the school of dentistry after graduating. He is currently a partner with the Virginia Oral Health Coalition and often serves as a volunteer with the Mission of Mercy Projects that provides dental services to the underserved. Busy between family and a full time practice, he finds reprieve sailing with the Hampton Yacht Club and fishing.

Katherine F. Reynolds, RDH

Katherine Reynolds has been performing dental hygiene care in periodontal and general practices for nearly 20 years. She is a graduate from Virginia Western in Roanoke, Virginia and earned a certificate to administer sedation and local anesthesia at Old Dominion University. She is currently a Lackey Free Clinic dental staff member and a mentor to senior dental hygiene students attending Thomas Nelson Community College. As a member of the ADHA, Virginia Geriatric Society and partner with the Oral Health Coalition group, Katherine plays an active role in her community as well as participating in Mission of Mercy Projects and as a recent dental coordinator for the 2012 Tangier Health Fair. She enjoys camping and boating with family and riding horses.
